Peppa Pig
Peppa Pig is a children's show that consists of many different, 5 minute, episodes. It revolves around the life of Peppa, a young anthropomorphic girl pig, and her family and friends. Each of her friends is a different species of mammal, each of which has a first name starting with the same letter as the type of animal they are (which is also their surname). Peppa's friends are the same age as her, and Peppa's younger brother George's friend Richard is the same age as him. Episodes tend to feature every day activities such as attending playgroup, going swimming, visiting their grand parents, going to the play ground riding bikes, etc.The characters all wear clothes, live in houses, and drive cars, but still display some characteristics of the animals on which they are based. Peppa Pig and her family snort like pigs during conversations and also like to jump in muddy puddles.
The other animals also make their respective appropriate noises when they talk, with some exhibiting other characteristics, such as the Rabbit family's fixation with carrots. The Rabbits are also the sole exception to the rule of human-like habitation, in that they live in a burrow in a hill, although it does have windows and is furnished in the same way as the other houses.
Peppa Pig's best friend is called Suzy Sheep. Peppa loves Suzy and Suzy loves Peppa. When they play dressing-up, Suzy likes to be a nurse and Peppa is always a fairy princess. Suzy and Peppa go to Madame Gazelle's playgroup with their friends Rebecca Rabbit, Danny Dog, Zoe Zebra, Pedro Pony, Candy Cat and Emily Elephant.
Peppa and George love going to visit Granny and Grandpa Pig in their little red car. Granny Pig calls Peppa and George her "little ones". Grandpa Pig allows Peppa and George to help him in the garden. Granny Pig makes Grandpa's vegetables into delicious food for tea.

Hello I'm Peppa Pig, I am five years old and I live with Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig and my litle brother George. I like playing with my best friend Suzy Sheep, visiting Granny and Grandpa Pig and looking after George. But most of all, I love jumping up and down in muddy puddles, laughing and making loud snorting noises. "Snooooooooooooort!". |
George is Peppa's little brother. he is 18 months old and loves to play with his big sister, Peppa, even when she is being bossy. George's favourite thing is his toy dinosaur. he carries it everywhere with him. George can't speak yet but can say one word very well... "Dinesaw!". |

Mummy Pig likes jumping up and down in muddy puddles almost as much as Peppa. She works from home on her computer and sometimes lets Peppa and George help, as long as they don't bash the keyboard. She is better at map reading than Daddy Pig and is very wise about most things. |
Daddy Pig is very jolly and laughs all the time, epsecially when he plays with Peppa and George. Daddy Pig reads the paper and gets excited about trips in the car. He loves cookies and pumpkin pie and Peppa teases him about his big round tummy. Daddy Pig can be a tiny bit grumpy sometimes when he can't remember where he put his glasses. |
