Zhu Zhu Pets

Aimed at children under ten Zhu Zhu Pets (otherwise known as Zhu Zhu Hamsters) are the smart electric pet. Each hamster (from a choice of twenty) has its own unique identity with its own character and personality. They are designed to respond to your childs actions and just loved to be hugged, played with and loved.

Because they are electric they are a great alternative to real hamsters as they don't need a cage, never need cleaning or feeding (well ok maybe the odd battery change every now and again) and you can switch them off at night!

They love nothing more than exploring and darting around from room to room to see what they can find. When they've finished a hard day's exploring they just want to be loved. Pick your hamster up and stroke his back, his head or his nose and he'll respond by chirping and squeaking his affection for you. Leave them alone for a while and they will go to sleep until your ready to play with them again in the morning.

With over 40 different sound effect these unique pets will keep your child both happy and entertained for months and months. Each hamster has its own personality and unique traits that make him unique and as they react to the way your child plays and interacts with him, no two hamsters will ever be the same.

Meet the hamsters

	Pipsqueak may be sweet and small, but this petite powerhouse isn't afraid of anything. A daredevil with the curiosity of a dozen cats, she loves to play, explore, run and slide. Just give her some wiggle room and watch her do her stuff.			If there's something yummy in the area, Num Nums will track it down! She's a super fuzzy friend you can depend on for laughs and love. Her highly trained sniffer can detect a carrot from a mile away, so stand back and watch her scoot to find munchies!

	Whoa, dude! Chunk the laid back surf hamster is famous for chillin' out, hangin' back and layin' low. But when he gets a whiff of some slammin' surf he's off and runnin'! Don't spare the hugs for this rad rodent... he lives to feel the love.			Mr Squiggles is the fussy and finicky hamster who's been there and lived to tell about it. Get out of his way as he's a hamster on a mission: explore galore then explore some more! Love him, pet him, watch him go. Just don't call him cute!

	Patches is the Zhu Zhu hamster who's always on the move! She loves flowers and will do anything, run on the wheel, slip on slides and go through crazy u-turns to sniff some delicious petals.			Jilly may seem shy at first meeting, but once you get to know her you'll see why she's the captain of the pep squad. Hamster moral has gone way up since Jilly moved to town.

	Scoodles is a go-get-em hamster! He lives to explore and loves traveling to far away lands. You'll rarely see this guy sitting still. There's too much to see and do to sit around all day!			Winkie loves to do one thing and one thing only, chill out with his friends and family! He's content with taking life easy and doesn't see what the fuss is all about needing to be always on the go!

	Nugget is the day dreamer of the Zhu Zhu Pets Crew. Her head is often in the clouds, but her paws are still on the ground! Her favourite thing to do is chase butterflies and find shapes in the clouds.			Kingston is a funky hamster and has a passion for the electric guitar and his cool hair! He lived in London for a few years with his best bud Pax and was inspired by the punk rocker's hair style and music.

	Pax used to be a loner because of his crazy hair until he met the other longhairs. He quickly became best friends with Kingston and they decided to get away from the AMerican scene and explore the great UK.			Roxie moved to Iceland when she was young and found out she had an amazing voice when singing at an open mic night. She changed her name to Roxie and became a world renowned rockster.

	Ryder was born into a royal Austrian hamster family. The royal life wasn't for her, so she packed up her royal bags and moved across the world to America. She met Roxie and was hired as her agent. She loves to play the drums!			Cappuccino is one of the most motivated and upbeat hamsters you'll ever meet. She likes to keep busy, so sitting back and relaxing isn't her cup of Cappuccino! From the minute she wakes she is always zhu-ooming around!

	There's one things that Jinx loves more than anything and that's football! Whether it's practise or game time, Jinx always works his hardest to be the best he can. His dedication helped him become captain of the Zhu Zhu football team.			Peachy is a southern belle, who is known for her cuteness, hospitality and award winning peach cobbler. Everyone in the country tries to replicate her recipe but no one has been successful. What's the secret? "lots of sugar, darlin!".

	Rocco loves to be the center of attention! He is always pulling tricks on people and has a tendency of getting into trouble. His favourite animals to pull pranks on are the hamsters in the Zhu-niverse. His best friend is Stinker because they love to be mischievous.			Stinker the skunk is one naughty prankster and all the other Zhu Zhu Pets try to avoid him! He always finds trouble and loves to get others into trouble with him. He's not mean... He just thinks it's fun!

	Born a little white bunny, it was quite a mystery when Sweetie's coat turned pink. Instead of eating carrots for dinner, this cheeky little bunny ate candy instead. It didn't take long before the sugar turned her coat pink!			Zuzu is never without his space helmet. once he puts it on his imagination launches into full gear and takes him anywhere he wants in the Zhu-niverse. Zuzu darts around like a rocketship... Pay attention or you may only catch a glimpse of him!

These smart toys feature two special modes: loving and explore mode. In loving mode, you can hug, pet and love your hamster and it will respond by squeaking and chattering. In explore mode, you allow them to go forth on their own through the hamster habitat or on your hard floors. Along the way, they'll scoot, scamper, bump and boogie all over! These are very smart hamsters which provide hours of unique playtime scenarios. Your child can use these hamsters as virtual pets, or can use them with various accessories.

If your Hamster is already "exploring" and running around, when it bumps its nose it will make a startled noise, and back-up out of the way, and then run off to explore some more! When you want to cuddle with or "reward" your hamster, pet it on the head (right behind the ears... they like that a lot) Your hamster will chirp and purr and coo contentedly. These little furballs love it when you pet them... and they'll keep "talking" until they get bored and go to sleep. To let your hamster know it's OK to run around and explore its environment, press it on its back and watch them go! Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters love to run around and explore. If you want to calm them down, you can pat it on the head button to cuddle (and it will stop running) or you can press it on its back and you will hear your Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster yawn and then go to sleep.
